The hotel is in quite surroundings and is excellently managed and staffed. The staff are extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. The accommodation is good and well kept. The food is excellent with a rich and varied menu with all dishes very well presented and cooked the only problem being which dish in each section i.e. starter, main and dessert to choose. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the hotel and restaurant.

Old world charm, in the delightful town of Midsomer Norton. Easy access to Bath and area. (If traveling by car to Bath use the park and ride) a typical English Inn which has maintained its ancient heritage, although offering all modern amenities, they not only supply towels, flannels and dressing gowns are provided! Helpful staff and a good breakfast made our stay enjoyable. If you want that little extra a gourmet dinner is available. Hope to return.
The name, just the name.

We had a lovely dinner and were pleasantly surprised that we had a very quiet and good nights sleep being an old building with lots of period features and creaky floorboards!

The food was very good and the friendliness and courtesy of the staff was excellent
The room we had was quite small and one could hear every sound of other guests moving past our door and on the stairs and opening and closing their doors.
